DEWTEC Ltd was formed in 2007 when the directors of CIS (Combined Industrial Services) split the company into two separate operations. DEWTEC was set up to concentrate on the technical side of the business, being Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Total Hose and Fittings servicing. The company is locally owned by Paul Dewar who has over 25 years experience in the industry throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Since the company was established in the early 90’s it has grown to be a leader in the industry with a unique structure of products and services that has a gained great respect from customers, suppliers and manufacturers, nationally and internationally.
DEWTEC employs more than 25 people all of whom are been extensively trained in the industry and very skilled in their respective trades and positions. The company has enjoyed a stable workforce which has offered stability and security not only to the company but also very importantly to our customers and suppliers alike
Fluid Engineering Division
Responsible for servicing the total range of Hydraulic and Pneumatic engineering, manufacturing, and product sales from our workshops in Palmerston North, Hastings and Masterton. We have the capability and experience to service a wide range of industrial and mobile plant of all makes and have developed distinctive strengths in designing solutions to meet our customer’s unique needs:

- Manufacture of Air force Hydraulic Test Rigs
- Design and installation of hydraulic systems for Carrot Harvesters
- Manufacture of hydraulically driven Pile Drivers
- Power Station Conversion to Remote Control
Elevated Work Platforms (Cherry Pickers)
DEWTEC are the Lower North Island service and spares agents for Snorkel who manufacture a wide range of mobile platforms.(Gisborne across to New Plymouth) An integral part of this business is the certification of these platforms under OSH plus the 10 years overhaul and certification requirements.

Hydraulic Hose and Fittings (ENZED - Hose Doctors)
This division is a franchised business with DEWTEC owning the ENZED franchise for Manawatu, Horowhenua and Wairarapa regions. Enzed is a 7 days 24-hour on site service provider over the total range of hydraulic hose, fittings, couplings etc. We have trained skilled Hose Doctors servicing the mobile market supported by our branch operations. DEWTEC also has a network of Enzed Regional Service Centers that are located for your convenience in the outer regions and towns.
All-purpose Hose and Fittings
DEWTEC has a broad range of hose and fittings to fit almost any application including air, water, steam, chemicals, oil etc. across all industries. DEWTEC is the NZ distributor for Earl’s Performance Products range of Hose and Fittings, Oil Coolers and Accessories for the automotive and performance markets.
